Internships
Providing students with meaningful, real world professional experiences is one of the ways we fulfill both our outreach and educational mission.
Our strategy is to use the interns’ time to help pursue opportunities and/or solutions to advance the mission of the Rockefeller Institute. Interns are assigned a senior staff mentor and are asked to work on a wide-range of projects.
Interns from the fields of art, public policy, horticulture/landscape architecture, and marketing have played important roles in developing plans and establishing operating procedures at the Rockefeller Institute. They have also contributed ideas and/or designs for many of our on-going projects and future plans.
We see the internship program as a key part of reaching out to creative and competent Arkansans whose youthful perspective can help keep the Rockefeller Institute a fresh, vibrant educational community.
