Petit Jean Mountain Attractions and Events in Arkansas
Our biggest attraction is our lack of distractions.
Come discover Petit Jean Mountain, one of Arkansas’ most beloved nature retreats.
Named after a 300-year-old legend and serving as the home of Arkansas' first state park, Petit Jean Mountain gives visitors breathtaking views, enchanting woodland trails, historic spots and natural beauty. Over time nature has formed many wonders that bring visitors to its peak. A few “can’t miss” attractions are the bluffs, Cedar Falls, Cedar Creek Canyon, Turtle Rocks and Seven Hollows.
Take a trail ride through the beautiful scenery at the nearby Petting Zoo and Trail Rides, located on Jones Lane. You may also want to "meet the big wheels" at the Museum of Automobiles, founded in 1964 by Gov. Rockefeller. Venture out to see this collection of privately owned classic vehicles located right here on Petit Jean Mountain.
Take advantage of all the attractions found atop beautiful Petit Jean Mountain:
- Petit Jean State Park
- The Museum of Automobiles
