Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary

This session of the Nature Photography workshop is part of Valentine's Weekend 2010.
In this workshop, an outdoor excursion provides an opportunity to capture stunning photos of natural subjects, while indoor instruction explores the theoretical aspects of image creation. This class involves light to moderate hiking. Non-slip hiking shoes and all-weather clothing are recommended.
The cost of the workshop is $50 per person.
Note: Students are expected to review and bring their cameras' instruction manuals and shoot using their own equipment.

- Managing your photo files
- A brief look at panoramic photography – digital stitching-matching files and high dynamic range (HDR) photography
- Digital manipulation
About the instructor
Todd Johnson is a professional graphic artist, illustrator and photographer. Since 1999, he and his wife, Tracy, have owned and operated Circa Incorporated, where they primarily specialize in museum and corporate exhibit and environmental graphic design, digital archival of historic photo collections, photographic digital asset management, and photo restoration. Work from this award-winning organization can be seen in the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute’s own historical gallery.
