Troubled Water
Arkansas’ status as a water-rich state may be in doubt. Growth in industry, agriculture and population is straining this essential resource and the signs are beginning to show.
Troubled Water is an original documentary of the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) that reveals the opinions and stories of farmers, geologists, experts and concerned citizens from across the state about the potential for a water crisis. While a study of water resources in Arkansas is as varied as the people who live here, how we manage our water and what we need to do to protect this irreplaceable resource is a common concern for us all.
Producer Mark Wilcken joined other water issue experts from around the state in a discussion about the concerns raised by the film and how Arkansans can work together to preserve this precious resource.
