Legacy Gallery
Winthrop Rockefeller’s decision to settle in Arkansas changed our state forever. This history is on display in a permanent exhibit titled “Winthrop Rockefeller: a Sphere of Power and Influence Dropped into a River of Need.”
The exhibit spans approximately 3,000 square feet and uses the rich visual image of a water drop causing concentric waves. Over 300 restored and enlarged photographs are incorporated into 180 murals and interpretative panels to tell his story in five areas:
- The Man
- His Heritage
- The Mountain
- His Influence
- His Legacy
Located in the Legacy Gallery near the front desk and Legacy Theater, the exhibit is free and open to the public. Special tours can be arranged for students or groups. Please call (501) 727-5435 for more information.
