Command Spanish® Workshops
The Rockefeller Institute offers Command Spanish workshops either for open registration or exclusively for your company or organization. To make arrangements for an exclusive workshop, e-mail Dixie Thackston, Language Training Coordinator, or call (479) 886-2323.
We are now accepting registrations for the following open workshops:
Command Spanish for Physicians - May 30-31, 2008 Register now
Command Spanish for Dental Hygienists - July 25, 2008 Register now
Survival Spanish for Teachers - August 4-5, 2008 Register now
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS are available for these workshops. There is an additional fee of $50.00 for the CEUs through IACET. Prepayment for CEUs is required. Those interested in obtaining them will fill out a form at the seminar. Upon receiving the documentation, they can then send it in to their particular organization for credit.
The Rockefeller Institute is an Official Registered Provider of Command Spanish®, Inc. language and cross-cultural training program. The goal of this language program is to help Arkansas build the infrastructure needed to respond to its growing Spanish-speaking population.
This program is a comprehensive treatment of the Spanish language skills needed when managing or supervising Spanish-speaking staff and communicating with Spanish-speaking customers.
Command Spanish®, Inc. requires no prior knowledge of Spanish. It results in immediate access to phrases needed to communicate with non-English speakers, uses non-grammar based instruction, and is learner-friendly, highly job-specific, and available for a wide range of jobs and professions.
The Rockefeller Institute can make any of the Command Spanish® workshops listed below available to your organization. The workshops may be held here on Petit Jean Mountain, which allows participants to focus on language skills without other distractions, or the instructor can provide the workshop at a location of your choice. Each workshop can be tailored to the needs of your group both in time and in topics within the course.
