Our culinary arts programs are developed to recognize the pivotal role food plays in the art of living, both on a personal and societal level. In the hustle and bustle of daily life in America, the power of food to create a less stressful environment cannot be ignored. Because we are what we eat, we strive to make all our culinary arts programming not only a recreation, but also an education in how to enjoy eating right with style.
Specific culinary arts programs we have held in the past include:
- Basic Training for Cooking Enthusiasts, a series of one-day, hands-on cooking classes
- Gourmet Getaways, weekend retreats for food and wine aficionados
- Taste of Teamwork, a teambuilding exercise that uses food preparation as a mechanism for groups to work on increasing communication and cooperation within their organization.
New programs are currently under development. Please check back as more information will be listed as it becomes available.
Collaboration is important to us as the programs at the Rockefeller Institute are designed to complement efforts by other organizations in the state. We value input from the public and partnerships with other organizations and institutions. If you have ideas for educational culinary arts programs you would like to see offered or would like to partner with us to offer a specific culinary arts program, please e-mail us.
